Two of my images were accepted into the 19th Annual Joan L. Dunfey Open Juried Exhibition which runs October 31st through December 2nd at the New Hampshire Art Association’s Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery in Portsmouth. The opening reception is Friday, November 2nd from 5 to 8 PM.
Both images were taken along the Head Harbor Wharf on Campobello Island, New Brunswick. Keep Out was taken at the entrance of a former fish processing plant. Bay Windows is a scallop shucking house. These structures are placed on boats used during the scallop season to provide some shelter for the crew members who shuck the scallops on board prior to returning to shore.

Images from the Gulf of Maine
June 1 to July 30
Over thirty photographs from a collection of my work from the Gulf of Maine will be on display June1 – July 30 at the Portable Pantry in Rochester, New Hampshire. The images are a blend of cultural anthropology and landscape photography. I’ve live and worked near the coast for more than thirty years and have photographed there extensively over the last twelve years.
The Portable Pantry is a great place for lunch or breakfast. They also offer an excellent catering service. The owner, Susan Jackson-Rafter, is an active supporter of local artists.
