“Door #1”

My photograph “Door #1” won third prize in the New Hampshire Art Association’s 36th Annual Parfitt Open Juried Photography Exhibit. The image was taken in Woody Point, Newfoundland. The town, which looks out onto Bonne Bay on Newfoundland’s West coast, borders Gros Morne National Park. In the early 20th century the area was heavily involved in timber harvesting. Today fishing is the major source of employment besides the tourist industry.
